Two High School Students Pass Trinity Exams With Dundee Drum Academy

Two young drumming students have recently passed graded exams with Trinity Guildhall. Marco (a second year student) achieved a merit in Grade 4 Trinity Rock & Pop while Oliver (also in second year) passed a Grade 5 Trinity Guildhall Drum Kit exam also with merit.

While this was Marco's first exam, Oliver continues his streak of success having previously achieved a distinction at Grade 1 level, and merits for Grades 3, 4, and now 5.

The Curriculum for Excellence currently requires fourth year students to perform at Grade 3 level in order to pass a National 5, so with Marco and Oliver's excellent results, they are well prepared and indeed miles ahead of where they need to be for school with their drumming.

Marco and Oliver's recent successes adds to Dundee Drum Academy's 100% pass rate for exams, including school exams with the SQA.

Dundee Drum Academy looks forward to passing more students in 2016, with a primary school pupil preparing to sit a Grade 3 exam with Rockschool, and more high school students preparing for higher graded examinations.

A very big well done to both students!
